OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Freshman Braijion Barnes scored 15 points off the bench to help lead No. 2-ranked Johnson County to a 77-69 home victory over Central Methodist JV, Thursday night. 

Barnes, a 6-4 guard from Piper High School, hit 6-of-9 shots, including a 3-pointer, and 2-of-3 free throws to post his second straight game in double figures. He had 10 points in the Cavaliers win at Southeast Tuesday night. He also collected three rebounds and two assists. 

Sophomore center Lukas Milner nearly had his second straight double-double finishing with 14 points and a team-high 10 rebounds. 

Reserve freshman guard Caleb Isralite also posted double digits, finishing with 11 points 

Sophomore guard Jackson Nicodemus knocked down all three of his 3-point attempts to finish with nine points. 

Ryan Spears led Central Methodist with 22 points, followed by Wes Sharp with 19 each and Jake Neal with 17.

The Cavaliers will look to improve to 4-0 when they host Graceland University JV on Tuesday, November 12 at 7 p.m.
