OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Johnson County Community College men's soccer team scored four goals in the firs 22 minutes and then cruised to a 5-1 win over Allen Community College Saturday, Sept. 9 at JCCC's soccer field. 

Freshman forward Sulayman Jenneh gave the Cavaliers an early lead at the three-minute mark with his first goal of the 2018 campaign. Freshman forward/midfielder Axxel Chazaro, one of the team's leading scorers, provided the assist. 

Freshman midfielder Victor Choi made it 2-0 Cavaliers in the 17th minute with his first goal off feed from freshman forward Sulayman Jenneh. 

Three minutes later sophomore defender Landon Rupp notched his first goal and freshman Marcos Vinicius got her first assist to put the Cavaliers on top 3-0, two minute after that score Chazaro scored off a feed from sophomore and 2017 team MVP Sung Min Cho for a 4-0 cushion 

Juan Carlos Martinez scored in the 62nd minute to get Allen on the board, but freshman midfielder Noah Juarez  put the Cavaliers back up by three goals in the 75th minute with his first score of the season.  Freshman midfielder Eduardo Goulart proved the assist. 

JCCC goalkeeper Pedro Henrique Ivaskoski improved to 5-2-0 on the season saving seven of the eight shots he faced in the 75 minutes he was in the nets. Freshman Brady Walken worked the final 15 minutes but did not face any shots on goal. 

The Cavaliers are off until Saturday, Sept. 15, when host Cowley College at 4 p.m., in a Jayhawk Conference match up.
