Mason Hartman is coming off a tremendous freshman season and continues to do everything that is asked of him … Very fast infielder that knows how to win … Handles the bat extremely well and will be looked at to contribute a lot of different ways this season … Will be counted on to be the spark plug for the Cavaliers … Committed to play at Pittsburg State University.

Batted .342 (116-for-339) with 12 doubles, a triple, a home run, 100 run, 76 RBIs and 40 stolen bases …  … Had 36 multiple-hit games and 20 multiple-RBI games, which rank 14^th and 15^th respectively on JCCC’s career charts … Also ranks 18^th in career at bats, 29^th in hits, 21^st in runs and 20^th in stolen bases.

Sophomore Year 2019

Earned All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference honorable mention honors … Played in 51 games, 41 as a starter … Batted .308 (45-for-146) with four doubles, a triple, 48 runs scored, 29 RBIs and 24 stolen bases … Registered 12 multiple-hit games and nine multiple-RBI games … Was also solid with his glove, committing just three errors in 135 fielding chances for a percentage of .978 … Had three hits with a triple, drove in three runs and scored three times in a 16-1 win over Southwestern (3-20-19) … Had a season-long five-game hitting streak in late March through early April … Batted .556 (10-for-18) with a double, eight runs and nine RBIs over the streak … Drove in four runs with a single and a double in a 12-3 win at Allen (4-1-19) … Matched his career high with four runs scored in an 11-8 win at Cowley (4-27-19) … Had three hits with a double, scored three times and drove in three runs in a 12-11 loss to Colby at the Central District Tournament (5-15-19).

Earned All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference honorable mention honors … Played in 52 games, 51 in the starting lineup … Batted .368 (71-for-193) with eight doubles, three triples, a home run, 52 runs scored and 47 runs driven in … Collected 24 multiple-hit games, 13 multiple-RBI games and had an 11-game hitting streak during the season … Also drew 30 walks, second most on the team, and had a team high 13 sacrifices, which ties him for eighth on JCCC’s season chart … Also led the team with 16 stolen bases … Opened the season with a nine-game hitting streak … Batted .500 (15-for-30) with a double, triple, home run, 10 runs scored and 16 driven in … Began the streak with two singles, two walks, three runs and two RBI in a 25-11 win over Rockhurst JV (2-14-18) … Followed with an RBI single and a bases loaded triple to collected four RBI in an 8-4 win over Ellsworth (2-17-18) … Had an RBI singles and a two run home run in a d 15-11 win over Ellsworth (2-18-18) … Batted .524 (22-for-42) over an 11-game hitting streak in late May and early April, with three doubles, two triples, five stolen bases, 11 runs and 11 RBI … Had a season-high four hits and four runs scored with an RBI in a 26-14 win at Highland (3-29-18) …  Swiped a season-high three bases in a 9-0 win over Highland (3-30-18) … Followed with a double and triple and two RBI in an 18-2 win over the Scotties in game two … Had a two-run double and drove in two other runs in a 20-3 win over MCC-Maple Woods (4-3-18) … Ended the streak with two singles, a triple and an RBI in a 10-0 win over Allen (4-5-18) … Batted .394 (13-for-33) in the postseason … Had three hits and scored three times in a 17-12 series clinching win over Cloud County in the first round of the Region VI Tournament … Had a pair of singles and scored a run in an 8-5 win over Colby and a 10-5 (5-11-18) win over Kansas City Kansas (5-13-18) … Ripped three singles and scored three runs in a 12-11 season-ending loss to Hutchinson (5-13-18).
