JCCC’s Ivaskoski earns KJCCC Co-Goalkeeper of the Week honor

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawk Community College released its week four winners for men's soccer player and goalkeeper of the week, and Johnson County Community College sophomore Pedro Ivaskoski was named as Co-Goalkeeper of the Week. He shares the honor with Cloud County Community College sophomore Noberto Vieira. Cloud County freshman forward Jelldrick Dallmann was selected the Player of the Week. This is the first time Ivaskoski has been selected the conference goalkeeper of the week. 

In his only action last week, Ivaskoski held No. 13-ranked Cowley College scoreless in 110 minutes in the nets, which resulted in a 0-0 double overtime tie with the Tigers. This was his second shutout of the season, and third of his career. 

Ivaskoski leads the conference in saves with 43 and ranks fourth in save percentage at .843. He is 3-2-1 this season, with a goals against average of 1.39.
