OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Johnson County Community College men's soccer team extended its season-long win streak to three straight with a pair of victories over the weekend. Johnson County open the weekend with a 3-0 shutout over Coffeyville on Saturday afternoon, and followed up on Sunday with a thrilling 2-1 double overtime win over Southwestern Illinois. 

In both victories, freshman forward Raman Bravo was credited with the game winner. He also had the game winner over Kansas City Kansas last week, the first win of the three-game streak. 

Against Coffeyville, Bravo started the scoring with a goal in the fourth minute off an assist from sophomore midfielder Marcos Vinicius

Sophomore Brad Tulley accounted for the other two scores. He made it 2-nill in the 32nd minute off a feed from freshman defender J.T. Sherman, and seven minutes later made 3-0 with an assist from freshman forward Kyle Reese

Sophomore goalkeeper picked up his second shutout of the season by stopping all six shots he faced. 

In the double overtime win over SWIC, Johnson County jumped out to a 1-0 lead on Manuel Escobedo's first career goal. Vinicius was credited with the assist. 

In the 78 minute, SWIC tied the game setting up Bravo's heroics in double overtime. Bravo's game-winner came in the final minute of the second overtime on an assist by Reese. 

Johnson County returns the pitch Wednesday, September 25, to host Neosho County Community College at 2 p.m.
