OVERLAND PARK, Kan.  – The Johnson County Community College men's soccer team pushed its winning streak to five straight game with a 1-nil victory at Kansas City Kansas Wednesday night.  Four of JCCC's last five wins have been by shutout and the Cavaliers have outscored their opponents 21-to-1 over that span.

The game was knotted at 0-0 until freshman forward Jacksyn McIntyre found the back of the net with just under three minutes remaining. It was McIntryre's seventh the goal of the season and his first game winner. Freshman midfielder Dylan Naidu earned the assist, his third on the year.

Sophomore goalkeeper Brandon McGaugh, this week's KJCCC Goalie of the Week, stopped all six shots he faced to post his third shutout on the season, and lowered his goals against average to 1.09, fourth best in the conference.

Johnson County will have a week to rest before hosting Neosho County on Wednesday, September 21 at 7 p.m., in a KJCCC clash.
