Former JCCC player and assistant coach Kirk French was one of three founding members of the Kansas City Brass. The Brass, formed in 1997, participates in the USL’s Premier Development League, the only U-23 League sanctioned by the USSF. Focused on developing talent with a Kansas City connection, a total of 11 former JCCC players have played for the Brass.

In 2007, the Kansas City Kings began play in the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL). In its hree seasons, seven former players appeared on the Kings roster. The Kings won two PASL Premier Midwest Regional Championships.
