OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The No. 3 ranked Johnson County Community College volleyball team posted a 3-0 sweep over No. 7 ranked Highland Community College, Wednesday evening at JCCC. The Lady Cavaliers posted back-to-back 25-19 wins, and closed out the match with a 27-25 victory. 

Sophomore Kayla Niegenfind posted a double-double of 11 kills and 11 digs to lead the team. Freshmen Brooke Wroten and Mikayla Powell each had eight kills. Sophomore All-American Rylie Barnum led the team with 12 digs.  Sophomore setter Ami Dias and freshmen setter Kallie Fenscke each reached double figures in assists with 19 and 16 respectively. 

Johnson County will return the court on Wednesday, Nov. 4, to host Neosho County Community College in a conference match. The start is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
