OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – For the second time in three weeks, Johnson County Community College sophomore All-American libero Rylie Barnum has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Conference Division II Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. Barnum was the week one winner, and Tuesday she was selected the week 3 winner. 

Last week, Barnum tallied 95 digs to help the No. 3 Lady Cavaliers to a 4-1 record. Two of JCCC's four wins were against top-20 ranked teams, and their only setback was to No. 1 ranked Parkland.  Barnum also had 13 services aces, including a career high eight in the sweep over McHenry County. She currently ranked third in the conference with 176 total digs this season and second with 25 total aces.
