NJCAA All-Americans (33)

Marcia Riniker
Outside Hitter (1974-75)
1975 2nd-Team

JCCC’s first NJCAA All-American, Riniker capped her sophomore season by earning first-team All-Region VI and
second-team NJCAA All-American honors in 1975.   She was also selected by her teammates as the most valuable player.  Riniker helped JCCC earn its first Region VI title and an 11th-place finish in the national tournament. 

Amy Borders
Outside Hitter (1982-83)
1983 1st-Team

Amy Borders became the first to be named to the NJCAA All-America first-team in 1983.  That season, she led JCCC to a 43-3 record, a region championship and a fifth-place finish in the national tournament. She was also selected to the NJCAA national all-tournament team, the All-Region VI first-team and became the first JCCC volleyball player to earn the Judith K. Bragg award.   Borders also was a model student-athlete, earning academic All-American honors.  She is the only four-sport athlete in JCCC history.  She also competed in track, basketball and softball.  In 1983, she became the first track and field All-American at JCCC, placing sixth in the discus.  She was inducted into the JCCC Hall of Fame in May of 2002.

Lori Heeter
Outside Hitter (1987-88)
1988 1st-Team

Possibly the best volleyball performers to come through JCCC, Heeter became the third NJCAA All-American in school history after an outstanding sophomore season in 1988.  Heeter closed out her career at JCCC with numerous record-setting performances.  In all, she topped the all-time list in 13 categories.  Heeter registered an amazing 501 kills and a hitting percentage of .296.  She also set the season record for solo blocks with 175 and upped her career record block total to 1,052.  Not surprisingly, she was named team MVP, and was awarded the JCCC female athlete of the year.  She was also twice selected to the All-Region VI first-team.  She also played basketball for JCCC, averaging 12.4 points and 10.2 rebounds per game, and was named all-conference in basketball.  Heeter went on to Idaho State and was a two-year starter in volleyball, and started one season of basketball.  Heeter went on to play professionally in Europe and for the Kansas City Lightning of the American Volleyball Association.  She was inducted into the JCCC Hall of Fame in May of 2003, and the NJCAA Hall of Fame in the fall of 2003.

Ashley Rawie
Outside Hitter (1998-99)
1999 Honorable Mention

Ashley Rawie became the fourth All-American in JCCC history when she was named to the honorable mention All-America team.  She is the first to earn that honor since 1988.  Rawie also left her name among the all-time leaders at JCCC.  She ranks third in a career for both kills (683) and digs (649).  For her tremendous season, she was voted team MVP.

Kaycee Duncan
Outside Hitter (1999-00)
2000 Honorable Mention

Kaycie Duncan became the fifth All-American in JCCC history, and the second in as many years, when she was named to the honorable mention All-America team for the 2000 campaign.  Duncan was voted the East Jayhawk Conference most valuable player , becoming the third Cavalier to earn that distinction.  She also earned All-Region/District honors.   She left her name among the all-time leaders at JCCC as well.  She ranks in the top 10 all-time with 501 kills.  Her 338 kills on the season rank 10th at JCCC.  For her tremendous season, she was voted team MVP.

Meghan Pudliner
Outside Hitter (2002-03)
2003 Second-Team

Meghan Pudliner developed into one of the best hitters in the country in 2003, and earned second-team NJCAA All-American after leading JCCC to the 2003 NJCAA D-II National Tournament.  Pudliner finished the season with 351 kills and a hitting percentage of .318.  Her 351 kills rank ninth on JCCC’s season chart.  She ranks 11th all-time with 451 kills.  Pudliner also registered a team high 111 blocks, including 52 solo blocks which ranks 14th at JCCC.  Early in the 2003 season, Pudliner was the recipient of the inaugural NJCAA D-II Player of the Week honor after leading JCCC to a 4-0 week.  She also was selected East Jayhawk Conference co-MVP, the fourth JCCC player to earn that honor, and was selected first-team All-Region VI.

Courtney Aguliar
Setter  (2002-03)
2003 Honorable Mention

Courtney Aguilar earned honorable mention All-American after putting together one of the best seasons by a setter in JCCC history.  A first-team all-conference and all-region selection as well, Aguilar became just the fourth player in JCCC history to record over 1,000 assists in a season.  She finished the year with 1,339 assists, the second-best total in team history.  Her 10.5 assist per game average ranked seventh in the NJCAA.  She registered a personal-best 61 assists helping JCCC defeat Hesston in the Region VI Championship.  Aguilar also led the team with 46 service aces, the 17th-highest season effort at JCCC.

Lauren Kracl

2005 First-Team

Lauren Kracl, a sophomore outside hitter from Eudora, Kan., was selected a first-team NJCAA and AVCA All-America performer after leading JCCC to a 35-4 record and the program’s first NJCAA National Championship.  She also was voted the top player in District K, Region VI and the East Jayhawk Conference.  She was the fifth player in team history to earn MVP of the conference.  Kracl also was voted MVP of the national tournament after leading JCCC with 98 kills and a hitting percentage of .270.  Kracl ranks among the top players nationally in kills and digs per game.  Her 434 total kills and 495 digs this season rank third all-time at JCCC.  Earlier in the campaign, Kracl was twice selected the Kansas Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week, and on she was the NJCAA Player of the Week for Sept. 18-24.  Kracl joined the program that season after earning honorable mention All-MIAA accolades at Missouri Western University her freshman year.  She was a standout athlete at Eudora High School garnering All-State accolades seven times in volleyball and basketball.

Emily Escher
Outside Hitter  (2004-05)
2005 First-Team

Emily Escher, a sophomore right side hitter from Topeka, Kan., earned first-team NJCAA All-American, first-team All-District K and first-team East Jayhawk All-Conference accolades in 2005 while leading JCCC to a 35-4 record and the programs first NJCAA volleyball national title.   She also was named to the NJCAA All-Tournament Team.  She led JCCC with 124 digs and was second with 80 kills in the national tournament.  Escher ranked second on the team this season with 367 kills and 540 digs.  Her 540 digs are the second highest season total all-time at JCCC.  Escher also was twice selected the Kansas Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week.  Escher also joined the program after starting at another program.  Escher used a redshirt season at Washburn University before she transferred to JCCC for the 2004 season.  As a freshman, Escher earned all-district and all-conference honors, and was selected the team’s MVP.  Escher ranks third all-time at JCCC for career kills with 655 and second for career kills with 726.

Katie Latenser
Libero (2005, 2006)
2005 Honorable Mention
2006 Second-Team

Katie Latenser proved to be on the top libero’s in the country in both her freshman and sophomore seasons.  She is the only player in JCCC history to earn All-America accolades as both a freshman and sophomore.  She earned honorable mention honors her freshman campaign, and was  also selected first-team All-District K and first-team East Jayhawk All-Conference.  She led the team with 584 digs, which is a new single season record at JCCC.  The previous record was 452 set in 1991.  She also led the team with 55 service aces.  Her effort helped lead JCCC to a 35-4 record and the program’s first NJCAA National Championship. A preseason All-American her sophomore season, Latenser earned second-team NJCAA All-American, first-team All-Region VI/District N and first-team All-East Jayhawk Conference accolades in 2006.   She is the only player in team history to be named All-American as a freshman and sophomore.    Additionally, she broke her own season record for digs finishing with 807, 223 more than her record-setting effort as a freshman.  She also shattered the career mark, finishing with 1391 digs over her two seasons, 648 greater than the previous mark.  She ended the season ranked eighth nationally in digs per game with an average of 6.4 per game.

Jackie Swab
Middle Hitter  (2006-07)
2007 First-Team

Jackie Swab earned first-team All-America accolades following her sophomore season, while helping JCCC to a 28-5 record, an undefeated conference season, and a runner-up finish at the 2007 NJCAA National Tournament.  Swab led the team with 358 kills and an attack percentage of .349.  She averaged 3.3 kills per match.  She also was second on the team with 104 blocks.  Her 358 season kills ranked 10th at JCCC.  She recorded 705 kills for her career, which ranks her third all-time in team history.  Swab also ranks 11th all-time with 284 career blocks.  In addition to her All-America honor, Swab earned first-team All-Region VI/District N and first-team All-East Jayhawk Conference honors.

Sydney Pemberton

2008 First-Team

Sydney Pemberton garnered second-team NJCAA All-American in 2007, then followed with a first-team selection her sophomore year.  In her two seasons at JCCC, Pemberton helped the Cavaliers to back-to-back runner-up finishes at the NJCAA D-II Volleyball Championships. JCCC posted a 58-9 record during her career, including a 30-4 mark in 2008.  She also earned first-team All-Region VI/District N, first-team All-East Jayhawk Conference honors twice and was selected the East Jayhawk MVP.   In 2007, Pemberton led the team with 132 blocks, and her 1.211 blocks per game average ranked 42nd in the NJCAA.  She also ranked 45th nationally in hitting efficiency at 34.760 percent.  Pemberton ranked second on the team in kills with 350, which ranks 13th on JCCC’s season chart.  In 2008, Pemberton led the team with 357 kills and an attack percentage of .434. She averaged 3.4 kills per match. She also led the team with 113 blocks. Her 357 season kills ranked 11th on JCCC’s season chart. Pemberton’s .434 attack percentage ranked seventh in the nation, and her 3.4 kills per game average ranked 18th. She also ranked 33rd nationally with a 1.076 blocks per game average.  For her career, Pemberton ranks fourth all-time at Johnson County with 707 kills. She played 241 career games for the maroon and gold, and averaged 2.9 kills per game. She also ranks 16th at JCCC with 245 career blocks, and fifth in career solo blocks with 97.

Jordan Lockwood
Outside Hitter  (2008-09)
2009 First-Team

Jordan Lockwood was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America teams in 2009. Lockwood, a native of Silver Lake, Kan., was selected to the first-team by the NJCAA for Division II, and was a second-team pick by the AVCA. The AVCA team includes athletes from D-I, D-II and California community colleges. Lockwood was also selected to the NJCAA D-II National All-Tournament Team, and was a first-team All-East Jayhawk Conference and All-Region VI/District N performer. Lockwood led JCCC with 449 kills and an a attack percentage of .235. She is just the fifth player in team history to register over 400 kills in a season. Lockwood finished 13th in the country with a kills-per-set ratio of 3.65. She registered 26 matches where she finished with double figures in kills. She also had 19 double figure dig matches, and a total of 17 double-doubles. A two-time All-East Jayhawk and All-Region VI/District selection, Lockwood left JCCC ranked third on both JCCC’s season and career kill charts with 449 and 730 respectively. She also ranks tied for 16th with 71 career aces, and her 554 career digs rank among the top 15 in team history. During her two seasons, Lockwood helped the JCCC volleyball team to a 57-13 record, two region/district titles and two NJCAA Tournament berths with resulted in a runner-up finish in 2008 and a sixth place finish this season.  Lockwood also was twice honored as an Academic All-American, making her the only player in team history to earn both honors.

Emily Hester
Middle Hitter  (2010-11)
2011 First-Team

Emily Hester was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-America first-team her sophomore year in 2011. She is  eighth player to be named to the first-team. Hester led her team with 410 kills on the season, placing her fifth on the season chart. She finished her career with 706 kills, which ranks her sixth. She also helped the Cavaliers win to District titles in her two seasons, capped by two top 10 national finishes. JCCC placed second her freshman year, and 10th her sophomore season. She was also twice selected first-team All-Region VI and was a two-time All-East Jayhawk Conference pick, earning second team in 2010 and first-team in 2011.

Jessica Andersen
Setter (2010-11)
2011 Second-Team

Jessica Andersen became the fourth freshman in JCCC history, and second setter, to be named NJCAA All-American, earning second-team honors. Andersen finished her freshman campaign with 1,336 assists, third all-time at Johnson County, and just three shy of the freshman season record. She is now one of only seven setters to register over 1,000 assists in team history. Her average of 8.7 assists per game ranked her 27th in the nation. She topped double figures in assists in 38 of JCCC’s 39 matches, including a season high 50 against Central. Andersen also garnered first-team All-Region VI and second-team All-East Jayhawk Conference honors in 2011

Preecy Seever
Hitter (2012-13)
2013 First-Team

Preecy Seever had a big sophomore season. She was selected first-team NJCAA and AVCA All-American, named to the NJCAA All-Tournament team and selected the East Jayhawk Conference MVP. Seever ranked second on the team in total kills with 445, and led the team with an impressive .422 hitting percentage. Her 445 kills ranked her 19th in the country, and .422 hitting percentage was the fourth-best in NJCAA Division II in 2013. She also ranked 17th with a kills per set average of 3.62. Seever moved into the No. 5 spot on JCCC’s season kills chart with 445, and ranks 12th all-time with 632. Seever was named to the NJCAA All-Tournament team after an impressive performance in all four matches. She recorded 64 kills in the tournament, and hit over .500 in three of the four matches, including kill percentage of .667 in opening match against Hagerstown. During the first week of October, Seever was named the NJCAA National D-II Player of the Week. She was also twice selected the KJCCC/Verizon Wireless Player of the Week, earning the honors in weeks two and six.

Lori Angelo
Hitter (2012-13)
2013 First-Team

Lori Angello joined Seever in 2013 as a first-team NJCAA All-American. Angello led JCCC with 462 kills, ranked second on the team with 394 digs.  She ranked 14th in the country with a 3.79 kills per set, and was 15th overall in total kills. Her 462 kills also ranks as the third best season in JCCC history. That total also ranked her 15th in the NJCAA. For her career, Angello ranked 13th with 604 kills, and 11th overall with 627 digs. Angello also was selected first-team All-East Jayhawk Conference and first-team All-Region VI D-II. .

Brianna Pontious
Hitter (2013-14)
2014 Honorable Mention

Brianna Pontious became the program’s 20th All-American and the 15th at the Division II level. In 2014, she led JCCC with 386 kills, which ranked her 45th in the NJCAA. She also 42nd nationally with a 3.19 kills per set average. Her efforts helped the Lady Cavaliers to a 23-12 mark and runner-up finish in the District playoffs. As a freshman, she helped JCCC to a 31-7 mark, a District title and a third place national finish. Pontious also left her mark in the JCCC record books. Her 386 kills rank 11th in team history, and her 667 career kills rank ninth all-time.

Maren Mair
Hitter (2015)
2015 First-Team

Maren Mair became the 11th player at JCCC to be named first-team All-American. She also was selected first-team All-District M, first-team All-East Jayhawk Conference and East Jayhawk Conference Freshman of the Year. During the season, Mair was voted the conference’s offensive player of the week for week number six. Mair ended the season ranked second in the Jayhawk Conference and ninth among NJCAA Division II players in hitting percentage at .367. She also ranked 11th in the conference in kills per set at 3.06, 20th in total kills with 321 and 16th in blocks per set at 0.74. Her 321 kills ranked second on the team and she led them with 10 solo blocks and 88 total blocks.  

Tori Kerr
Hitter (2015-16)
2015 Second-Team

Tori Kerr was named second-team All-America and was named NJCAA D-II All-Tournament after putting together a sensational tournament. She finished the tournament with 122 digs and recorded a season high 41 digs in the win over Central. Kerr also earned first-team All-District M and second-team All-East Jayhawk Conference. Kerr ranked fourth in the Jayhawk in digs with 782 and digs per set at 6.02. Those totals also ranked 13th among NJCAA D-II players. Her 782 total digs set the record for most recorded by a freshman and rank second overall on Johnson County’s season chart.  Kerr registered 33 double-digit dig matches on the season, including eight of 30 or more.

Jade Askren
Setter (2017-18)
2018 First-Team

Jade  Askren put together a tremendous sophomore campaign that etched her name in the all-time records at JCCC. She compiled 2,122 career assists, third most all-time in team history, and she is tied for 11th all-time with 85 service aces. For the 2018 season Askren ranked fifth in the conference and ninth in the NJCAA with 1,337 assists. She also ranked seventh in conference and 15th in the NJCAA with an assists per set ratio of 9.76. Her 1,337 season assists rank third on JCCC's season chart. She registered double figures in all 37 matches. She had 20 or more in 36 matches, 30 or more in in 25, 40-plus in 17 matches and two over 50. Twice during the season she was selected the Kansas Jayhawk Conference D-II Setter of the Week. She also was selected first-team All-Conference and All-Region VI/District M. 

Rylie Barnum
Libero (2018)
2018 Second-Team

Rylie Barnum, who was one of only two liberos to be selected this year, produced numbers that only rank her among the leaders in the conference this season, but in JCCC team history as well. She led the conference and ranked 11th in the NJCAAA with 743 digs. She also ranked second in the conference and 26th nationally with a digs-per-set ratio of 5.31. Her 743 digs rank third on JCCC's season chart and 11th on the career chart. She produced 33 matches with 10-plus dig total, 21 with 20-plus digs and three of 30 or more. She too was twice selected with weekly honors, earning KJCCC D-II Defensive Player of the Week in weeks three and six. She was also a first-team all-conference and all-region/district.

Anna Hester
Middle Hitter  (2017-18)
2018 Honorable Mention

Anna Hester also posted a tremendous sophomore season and she too has her name sprinkled throughout JCCCs all-time statistical leaders. She is third member of her family to play for Johnson County, and joins her sister Emily as an All-American selection, who earned the honor in 2011. She recorded 707 career kills with ranks her tied for fifth on JCCC's career chart. She also ranked 13th all-time with 209 career block assists. For the season, Hester ranked eighth in the conference and 17th in the NJCAA with 463 kills. She also ranked eighth in the conference and 37th nationally with a kills-per-set ratio of 3.31. Her 463 kills are the third highest season total in team history. She registered double figures in kills in 27 matches, including a career high 23 in win over Iowa Central. That effort tied the fifth-best match total in team history. In week three of the season, Hester was selected bot the KJCCC and NJCAA Offensive Player of the Week. She also was selected first-team all-conference and all-region/district and was an all-tournament pick following JCCC's run through the national tournament.

Gracie Laforge

2020-21 Lea Plarski Award 

Gracie LaForge earned first-team NJCAA D-II All-American and second-team AVCA All-American after helping lead JCCC to a national championship. She was a first-team All-Kansas Jayhawk D-II Conference and first-team All-Region VI/Plains District selection. She was a second-team all-conference pick as a freshman.  In 2020-21, LaForge ranked second in the conference and 17th in the NJCAA with a kill percentage of .359, and she ranked seventh and 18th respectively with 280 kills. She registered double figures kills in 11 matches and hit .400 or better 11 times, with a season-best of .70 in a win over Cloud County. In the national tournament, LaForge tallied 37 kills. In the championship match she had nine kills and team-high seven blocks. LaForge capped the year by being named the 2020-21 Lea Plarski Award winner. This prestigious award is given annually to the NJCAA student-athlete who best exemplifies sportsmanship, leadership, community service, academic excellence, and athletic ability. She is the second JCCC athlete to receive this honor. She also was named to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-America College Division Women's At-Large team, the second in team history and fourth in JCCC history.

Mikayla Powell
Middle Hitter  (2019-21)

2020 NJCAA D-II National Player of the Year
2020 AVCA First-Team

Mikayla Powell became the most decorated player in a season in team history in 2020-21. Her accolades began with earning first-team D-II All-KJCCC and first-team All-Region VI/Plains District. She then helped lead the Lady Cavaliers to its first national championship in 16 years. She was named the MVP of the national tournament after tallying 57 kills while hitting .339 over the four matches. She had 19 kills in the championship match against Parkland. Her 19th kill sealed the title for the Lady Cavaliers. Powell   was named first-team NJCAA D-II and AVCA All-American, and a week later was selected as the NJCAA D-II National Player of the Year, the first in JCCC volleyball history. She ranked third in KJCCC D-II and fourth in the NJCAA with 363 kills, and her kills-per-set average of 3.59 was fifth and 20th respectively. She led the conference and ranked 15th in the NJCAA in kill percentage at .361.  Powell topped double figures in kills in 24 of the 27 matches in 2021. She hit over .400 in 15 matches, including a season-best .700 in the Region VI/Plains District championship match. A two-time KJCCC D-II Offensive Player of the Week, she closed out her career with 711 digs, which ranks her fifth all-time at Johnson County.

Maddie Steiner

Maddie Steiner earned first-team NJCAA All-American and third-team AVCA All-American after helping JCCC to a third-place finish at the NJCAA D-II National Tournament. Steiner led the team and ranked third in the Kansas Jayhawk Conference with 663 digs. Her 5.30 digs-per-set average ranked second in the conference and those totals ranked her 15th and 27 respectively in the NJCAA.  She produced 35 matches with 10 or more digs, 11 with 20+ digs and four with 30+digs, highlighted by back-to-back 38-dig matches in wins over No. 4 Illinois Central and No. 11 Grand Rapids early in the season.  Steiner also had 43 service aces on the season.  Steiner also earned first-team D-II All-KJCCC and All-Region 6/Plains District B honors.  Following the sixth week of the season, she was named the conference and national Defensive Player of the Week. Steiner closed out her career with 921 digs which ranks her ninth all-time at JCCC.

Carly Spachman
Middle Hitter  (2020-21)
2021 NJCAA Second-Team

Carly Spachman earned second-team NJCAA All-American after helping JCCC to a third-place finish at the NJCAA D-II National Tournament. Spachman finished the season third on the team in kills with 281, and fourth with kills-per-set average of 2.16. She ranked second on the team, fifth in the conference and 39th in the NJCAA with a hitting percentage of .302. She also ranked third on the team and 11th in the conference with 49 aces and was second on the team and fourth in the conference with 113 blocks. Spachman produced 11 matches with 10 or kills. In the national tournament she tallied 29 kills over the four matches, including a 12-kill effort in a 3-2 win over No. 5 Sauk Valley in the quarterfinals. Spachman also earned second-team D-II All-KJCCC and first-team All-Region 6/Plains District honors.

Laurenn McClure
Setter  (2021-22)
2022 NJCAA Honorable Mention

Lauren McClure earned NJCAA honorable mention All-Americna after helping JCCC to a fourth-place finishat the NJCAA D-II National Tournament. McClure established herself as JCCC’s top go-to setter this season. In the first week of this campaign, she was chosen the KJCCC D-II Setter of the Week. She ended the season ranked fifth in the conference in assists with 861 and seventh in assists-per-set at 6.89. McClure produced 38 matches with 10-plus assists, 23 with 20 or more and seven of 30-plus. She also led the team with 50service aces.  For her career she has tallied 1423 assists, 14th most in team history. She also has 66 matches of 10 or more assists.

Addyson Mock
Libero  (2021-22)
2022 NJCAA Second-Team

Addyson Mock earned NJCAA second-team All-Americna after helping JCCC to a fourth-place finishat the NJCAA D-II National Tournament. Mock led the team, ranked second in the conference and 19th in the NJCAA with 646 total digs. That total ranks her fifth on JCCC’s season chart. She also ranked fourth in KJCCC D-II with a digs-per-set average of 4.86. Mock topped double digits in digs this season in 35 matches, including 11 with 20 or more. Like Troutman, Mock was also a three-time KJCCC D-II Player of the Week, earning top defensive honors in weeks four, seven and 10. For her career, Mock stands ninth all-time with 881.

Jadyn Troutman
Outside Hitter  (2021-22)
2022 NJCAA First-Team

Jadyn Troutman became the 15th player in team history be selected first-team NJCAA All-American after helping JCCC to a fourth-place finish at the NJCAA D-II National Tournament. She was also selected second-team AVCA All-American. Troutman led the team and ranked fifth in the conference with 402 kills this season, an average of 3.24 per set. That total also ranks her 11th on JCCC ‘s season chart. She also ranks second in conference and 15th in the NJCAA with a .347 kill percentage. She leads the conference in total blocks with 168, which also ranks fifth in the NJCAA.  She reached double figures for kills in a match 24 times this season, with a high of 16 against Parkland in final game at nationals. During the regular season Troutman was honored as the KJCCC Offensive Player of the Week three times, earing the selection in week one, five and seven. She was also selected first-team All-KJCCC D-II and All-Region 6/Plains District.  For her career she tallied 715 kills, fourth all-time at JCCC, 275 blocks and 250 block assists, 12th and seventh respectively all-time.

Sarina Ulberg became the 16th player in team history be selected first-team NJCAA All-American after helping JCCC to a third-place finish at the NJCAA D-II National Tournament. She was also selected first-team All-Amercan by VolleyballMag.com, just the fourth player to earn that award. Ulberg was also selected First Team All-Kansas Jayhawk Conference D-II and All-Region 6/District. Ulberg put together a tremendous sophomore season. She led the team, ranked fourth in the conference and 30th in the NJCAA with 408 total kills. Her 408 kills also rank 11th on JCCC’s season chart. She posted a .293 kill percentage which also ranks fourth in the conference and her 3.07 kills per set average was seventh-best in the conference. Ulberg also had an outstanding national tournament, finishing with 75 total kills, fourth most ever in tournament play in team history. In JCCC’s opening win over Gulf Coast State she collected 21 kills, which ties the fourth-best total in a match. For her career, Ulberg tallied 556 total kills, with ranks 20th all-time.
