Morgan Lindsay is coming off a summer surgery and working her way back ... Will serve in the closer role this season ... Is a good change of pace for the staff ... Possesses a good spin ball which is very tricky looking coming out of her hand. 

Sophomore Year 2022

Made 13 appearances in the circle, five as a starter, with two complete games … Logged 31.0 innings with 18 strikeouts, a 2-3 record and an ERA of 2.94 … Suffered a 4-3 loss in her season debut, allowing for runs, three earned, off six hits with five strikeouts against North Central Missouri (3-1-22) … Was the winning pitcher in a 14-4 victory at Cloud County, allowing four runs, two earned, off five hits with three strikeouts (4-26-22) … Logged a season-high six innings, allowing four runs off seven hits in a 12-4 win over Allen (4-12-22) .. Did not allow a run over her next five relief appearances, and ad just three hits in six innings of work.

Freshman Year 2021

Made eight appearances in the circle, three as a starter … Was 3-0 with three complete game victories and two shutouts … Collected 15 strikeouts over 24.2 innings and finished with an earned run average of 3.97 … Held hitter to a .215 average, best on the staff … Made her debut in relief, pitching 2.2 scoreless innings with a strikeout in a 9-6 loss at Indian Hills (3-12-21) … In her first start, allowed just two hits with two strikeouts in a 13-0 five inning shutout over Cloud County (3-27-21) … Allowed three runs, two earned and struck out a season high six batters in an 11-3 win over Fort Scott (4-17-21) … Had her longest outing of seven innings, allowing just two hits with three strikeouts in a 5-0 win over St. Louis (4-27-21) … Had an inning of scoreless relief in a 15-2 win at Hesston (4-29-21).

Started her freshman year for coach Susan Mayberry at Basehor-Linwood High School, Bonner Springs, Kan.  … Graduated 2020 … Earned All-League honorable mention her freshman year  … Was a three-year letter winner in basketball … Helped the Bobcats to conference, Regional and Sub-state titles her senior year … The team did not compete at the State Tournament due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
