Coordiantor of Athletic Compliance

Betsy Timm enters her 11th season on staff with the JCCC athletics department, and her 10th as Coordinator of Athletic Compliance. She is extremely involved in all the behind-the-scenes aspects of the department. Timm handles the EADA Report, NJCAA eligibility, letters-of-intent creation and submission, enters requisitions, scholarship submission to financial aid, answers questions and solves issues regarding balances of student-athlete accounts and helps facilitate submission of team travel meal sheets.

Timm joined the JCCC staff in Sept. 2010 as an Office Assistant.

Prior to her arrival, Timm spent three years in Big Sky, Mont., where she served one year as a licensed real estate agent and administrative assistant for a broker and two years as a co-owner of a caretaking and cleaning business for second homes and rentals.

A 2007 graduate in sports administration from the University of Kansas, Timm was a two-sport athlete at JCCC, competing in soccer and tennis. In the fall of 2003, Timm played in nine matches, including five starts between the pipes, and posted a 2-2 record with 1.5 shutouts and a goals against of 1.67. She also registered 46 saves, which currently rank 23^rd on JCCC’s season chart. Timm’s efforts helped the Lady Cavaliers to runner-up finishes in the conference and region. 

That spring she joined the tennis team and competed at both the No. 5 and No. 6 singles spots and No. 3 doubles. Along with her doubles partner, Timm reached the semifinals at nationals and posted 10 wins, the third most at No. 3 doubles in team history. They were also the Region VI champions, and she finished runner-up at No. 6 singles. She was 12-10 overall in singles and was 9-3 from the sixth spot. Her nine wins ranked sixth most in team history from at No. 6, and her 12 wins overall were tied for 12th on the victory chart by a freshman.
