OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The No. 10-ranked Johnson County Community College men's basketball team shot 61 percent on their way to a 110-63 home victory over Ottawa University JV, Friday night.  The Cavaliers are 17-3 as they embark on their conference slate next Wednesday against undefeated and No. 2-ranked Highland Community College. 

In the win over the Braves, sophomore forward David Turner led the way with 18 points on 9-of-11 shooting. He shooting 68 percent from the field on the season, which ranks him ninth in the country. He also added six rebounds. 

Sophomore forward Xavier Womack came in off the bench to pour in 15 points. He was 6-of-8 from the field with a 3-pointer, and 2-of-3 at the line. 

Also in double figures were sophomore guard General Williams with 13 and freshman guard JaQuaylon Mays with 11 

Sophomore guard Nick Larkin finished with just five points, seven below his season average, he was masterful at running the offense dishing out 14 assists. 

Other key efforts were turned by freshman guard Nic Slavin (9 points), freshman forward Lukas Milner (9 points) and freshman forward Isiah Sears (7 points, 7 rebounds).
