OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – For the third time this season, Johnson County Community College sophomore guard JaQuaylon Mays has been named the Kansas Jayhawk D-II Conference Player of the Week. He also earned the honor in weeks three and six. 

In his team's only action last week, Johnson County sophomore Mays helped lead the 7^th ranked Cavaliers to an 86-82 overtime win at Metropolitan. May recorded his first career double-double with 21points, a career-high 14 rebounds and four assists.  On the season, Mays is averaging 16.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists.
