OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The 11-ranked Johnson County men's basketball team notched its 20th win of the season Saturday afternoon, downing the Hesston Larks 73-57 at the Yost Center in Hesston, Kan. 

Sophomore guard JaQuaylon Mays led all players with 25 points. He hit 10-of-14 shots, including 5-of-6 from 3-point range. He also had five assists, four rebounds and two steals. 

Also finishing in double figures scoring were sophomore guard Macaleb Hughes with 11 and sophomore center Lukas Milner with 10. Hughes also grabbed a game-high nine rebounds. 

Johnson County (20-4/3-1) travels across town to take on Kansas City Kansas (11-12/3-1) on Saturday afternoon, February 5. The winner will take over sole possession of first place in the Kansas Jayhawk D-II Conference standings. The Blue Devils are coming off an impressive 91-73 road victory at Highland Saturday afternoon.
