OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – For the second time this season Johnson County sophomore guard Jaycson Bereal has been selected the Kansas Jayhawk Division II Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.  His first player of the week honor was two weeks ago in week six of the season. 

In Johnson County's only action last week, Bereal registered his first double-double of his career, finishing with 21 points and 10 rebounds, along with three blocks, to power the No.-2 ranked Cavaliers to a 71-59 conference victory over Labette. He shot an impressive 69 percent from the floor, hitting 9-of-13 shots, including three 3-point shots. 

For the season he is averaging 13.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and hitting 54.9 percent of his shot attempts, which ranks fourth in the conference.
