Mann brothers power Cavaliers to 15-point win over Iowa Western

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County freshman forward Brandon Mann and sophomore forward Kyler Mann combined for 52 points to help power the No. 2 ranked Cavaliers to an 85-70 victory over Iowa Western Wednesday night at JCCC Gymnasium.

The younger Mann brother poured in a season high 28 points hitting 13-of-18 shots. The elder Mann posted a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds along with six steals and five assists. He hit 9-of-12 shots and was a perfect 6-for-6 at the free throw line.

Also finishing in double figures for JCCC was sophomore guard Jordan Nichols with 10 points.

The Reivers had three players post double digits led by Jadon Cool with 16 points.

Johnson County closes out the month with a 10-0 record. They will look to improve to 11-0 on Saturday, December 2 when they host North Central Missouri at 4 p.m.  The Cavaliers defeated the Pirates 77-59 in Trenton on November 4.
