Three student-athletes from Johnson County Community College have been honored as 2024-25 Academic All-America Women’s At-Large Team College Division by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Sophomore defenders Emily Crosby and Montana-Rose Currey of the women’s soccer team were named to the first-team, and sophomore softball first baseman Aspen Burgardt was a second-team selection.

JCCC's Eric Horner Named ABCA/ATEC NJCAA D-I Plains Region Coach of the Year for Third Consecutive Season
Johnson County Community College head baseball coach Eric Horner has been named the 2025 NJCAA Division I Plains Region Coach of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and ATEC. This marks the third consecutive year Horner has earned the prestigious honor, making him the first coach in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) and Region 6 history to three-peat.
