Cavaliers take first two games of series with Labette
– The No. 3-ranked Johnson County baseball team Improved to 38-8 on the season and 20-2 in conference play taking the first two games in the four-game series with Labette by the scores of 11-1 and 11-2.
JCCC’s Brewer makes Prep Baseball Report JUCO Midseason Top-100 list
Johnson County Community College designated hitter/infielder Dagen Brewer was among the top-100 players to make the Prep Baseball Report midseason list. The sophomore out of Topeka, Kan., was tabbed the 29th best player through the halfway point of the 2024 season.
JCCC baseball ranked in top-10 in every national baseball poll
As the Johnson County Community College baseball program continues to pile up wins, they also continue to move up in the national ranking. This week the Cavaliers are ranked in the top-10 in all six national polls.
Cavaliers take final two games at Allen to win series
– The No. 3-ranked Johnson County baseball team posted a pair of double-digit victories at Allen to win the season series 3-to-1 on Saturday in Iola. The Cavaliers opened the day with 15-4 victory followed a 16-6 win, upping their records to 36-8 overall and 18-2 in conference play.
Brattin-Volkens wins 400th game
– Johnson County Community College head softball coach Aubree Brattin-Volkens earned her 400th career victory on Saturday as the Lady Cavaliers swept Independence Community College in a conference double header.
