Two JCCC volleyball players represented on NJCAA D-II All-Tournament Team
The Johnson County Community College volleyball team had two players represented on the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II National All-Tournament Team after helping the Lady Cavaliers to a national runner-up finish. JCCC lost 3-1 in the National Championship Match to KJCCC rival Cowley College.
Hedke selected All-America second-team by the NJCAA
Johnson County Community College sophomore outside hitter/outside hitter Bella Hedke has been selected as a 2024 Second-Team All-American by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). She becomes the 34th player in team history to be selected NJCAA All-American and the 29th in Division II.
Lady Cavaliers finish as NJCAA Division II runner-up
The Johnson County Community College volleyball team’s quest for a third national championship came up short Saturday evening, as Cowley College was able defend its NJCAA Division II championship by downing the Lady Cavaliers 3-1 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
JCCC volleyball to play for National Championship
No. 7 seed Johnson County Community College volleyball defeated No. 6 seed Gulf Coast State College in four sets, 14-25, 25-21, 24-22, 25-19 on Friday night in the NJCAA Division II semifinal at Alliant Entergy Powerhouse Arena in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The Johnson County Community College volleyball team moved a step closer to a national championship on Thursday night, upsetting No. 2-seed Parkland College 3-1 at Alliant Energy Powerhouse Arena in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
