JCCC’s Carson Schmitt selected United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American
– United Soccer Coaches recently announced its 2024 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Americans for all levels of college soccer, and Johnson County Community College sophomore defender Carson Schmitt was named to the first-team for two-year men’s college soccer.

Johnson County Community College men’s soccer forward Monty Almalky and midfielder Dominic Zuniga have been named to the United Soccer Coaches NJCAA Division II All-West Region team.

The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) announced its 2024 men’s soccer awards and Johnson County had seven players named to the All-KJCCC Division II Men’s Soccer Team. Two were on the first-team and five earned second-team recognition.
JCCC men’s soccer season ends with loss to Neosho County in Region final
The No. 15-ranked Johnson County Community College men’s soccer season concluded Tuesday night in Chanute, Kan., with a 3-1 setback to Neosho County Community College in the Region 6 Championship Match. The Cavaliers end the season 14-4-0 overall, while the Panther improve to 16-1-2 and host the Plains District Final on Saturday.
JCCC opens postseason with a 3-1 victory over Central
The No. 8-ranked Johnson County scored three unanswered goals to rally from a 1-0 deficit for a 3-1 victory over Central Community College in the opening round of the Plains District Tournament Thursday night at the JCCC Soccer Complex.
