JCCC rolls past Labette, advances to Region 6 title game
Johnson County Community College built a nine-point advantage in the first quarter and steadily extended its lead through the second and third periods as the No. 1-ranked Cavaliers cruised to an 82-63 victory over Labette in the semifinals of the NJCAA Region 6 Women’s Basketball Championship Friday afternoon.

Cavaliers climb to No. 2 in NJCAA Baseball Poll
The Johnson County Community College baseball team has opened the season in dominant fashion, winning five consecutive series — including three sweeps — to race out to an 18-2 record through 20 games. The start ties for the third-best opening in program history.
