Cruse honored as NJCAA D-II Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
One day after being selected the KJCCC Division II Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, Johnson County Community College Tavian Cruse has been selected the NJCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. He is the first player to earn the weekly national honor since Jaland Whitehead was selected during the 2021-22 season.

The Johnson County Community College baseball team will honoring former head coach Sonny Maynard on Saturday, April 11 against Southwestern Community College at JCCC Baseball Complex. The ceremony will take place at 12:45 with an unveiling of his jersey on the outfield wall followed by his family throwing out the first pitch.
No. 1 JCCC rolls to 111-43 win as Ford leads five in double figures
Freshman guard Anonda Ford powered the No. 1-ranked Johnson County Community College women’s basketball team to a dominant 111-43 victory over Missouri Valley JV Tuesday night, leading the Cavaliers with 23 points and eight rebounds. Ford was nearly unstoppable, hitting 11-of-14 shots to match her season high, and adding three steals to tie for the team lead.

Warren nabs second KJCCC D-II Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor
For the second time this season, Johnson County Community College freshman guard Jade Warren has been selected the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
