Cammie Banker-Reynolds was a seven-time All-American at JCCC, competing in cross country and track and field. Her sophomore year, Banker-Reynolds also won a national championship, winning the 5,000 meter run. Her time of 18:43.70 was a national meet record. In cross country, Banker-Reynolds earned All-American her freshman and sophomore seasons, becoming just the second JCCC athlete to be a two-time cross country All-American. She was also an outstanding student, earning NJCAA Academic All-America honors. Banker-Reynolds also ran on the 1993 marathon team that captured the first national championship in JCCC athletics history. She finished in eighth-place. She also a part of track teams that posted four top-10 finishes nationally, including two in the top-five. Banker-Reynolds completed her career at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga where she was a two-time second-team Southern Conference performer in cross country and one-time first-team Southern Conference performer in the 10,000-meters. Banker-Reynolds was also a Southern Conference first-team academic selection her junior and senior years.
