Made 12 appearances on the bump, five a starter … Logged a 5-1 record with a team-best 2.45 ERA in 36.2 innings of work … Picked up one save, his 11^th of his career … Struck out 55 batters while allowing 19 run, 10 earned, on 23 hits and 15 walks on the year … Limited opposing batters to a .170 batting average, second-lowest on the staff … Earned his first victory in a 7-4 win over Metropolitan, allowing two hits, no runs with three strikeouts over 1.2 innings pitched (2-39-22) … Recorded his lone save of the season at home against Kansas City Kansas, limiting the Blue Devils to two hits while striking out eight in 5.0 innings of relief work (4-21-22) … Put together one of the most dominating efforts in team history in a 22-0 win at Labette, mowing down 15 batters while not allowing a single hit (4-28-22) … It was the 10^th no-hitter in Johnson County history and his 15 strikeouts tied the third-most in a game in JCCC baseball history … That effort earned him the KJCCC Pitcher of the Week for week 12 … That also started a string of four straight wins … Allowed a run off three hits and struck out six over 5.0 innings in an 8-1 win over Allen (5-6-22) … Allowed four runs, three earned, and fanned seven batters over 5.0 innings in a 14-7 win over Dodge City in the first round of the Region 6/Plains District Tournament (5-10-22) … Allowed just one run over 5.0 innings and struck out five in an 11-1 win over Colby (5-18-22).

Freshman Year 2021

Was the team’s top closer in 2021 … Made a team-high 20 appearance on the hill, with one start … Finished 1-1 with nine saves, which tied for second in the conference, fifth in the NJCAA and third on JCCC’s season chart … Had 57 strikeouts, third on the staff, in 30.2 innings of work, and an earned run average of 6.46 … Held hitters to a .181 batting average … Did not allow a hit or a run and struck out five over two innings in a 12-1 win over Southwestern in the season opener (2-22-21) … Earned his first save in an 8-3 win over Southeast, allowing just one hit, no runs with three strikeouts in 2.2 innings of relief (2-26-21) … Did not allow a hit or a run and struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings in a 20-8 win at Labette (3-10-21) … That started a run of five straight saves in which he did not all any runs … Allowed a hit and struck out three in an inning pitched to earn a save in a 9-6 win at Fort Scott (3-20-21) … Allowed a hit, no runs and struck out five over three innings in a 10-2 win at Metropolitan (3-24-21) … Issued a walk and struck out three in an inning to preserve a 5-1 win against Kansas City Kansas (4-1-21) … Allowed a run off one hit with three strikeouts in two innings pitched to earn a save in a 6-4 win over Neosho County (4-15-21) … Struck out five in 2.1 innings worked in a 6-4 win over Allen (4-24-21) … Picked up his eighth save with an inning of scoreless relief with two strikeouts in a 10-8 win at Coffeyville in the first of two games (5-1-21) … Allowed two runs with six strikeout over 2.2 innings on the hill to pick up his ninth save in a 13-9 win over Ravens in game two  … Earned NJCAA All-Academic third-team with a grade point average between 3.60 and 3.79.

Made six appearances all in relief … Allowed just two hits, no runs, two walks with five strikeouts over 7.0. innings of work … Had an earned run average of 0.00 with one save … Made his debut with an inning of hitless relief in an 11-0 win at Brookhaven (2-7-20) … Followed with another inning of hitless relief in a 10-3 win over Ellsworth (2-17-20) … Did not allow a hit or a run in 2.0 innings to earn the save in a 6-5 win over Kirkwood (2-29-20) … Struck out the side in an inning of relief in an 11-3 win over Labette (3-5-20).

High School 

Was a two-year starter for coach Brian Bucklin at St. James Academy, Lenexa, Kan. … Graduated 2019 … Was the 5A Pitcher of the Year by Sports in Kansas and the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches in 2019 … Was a first-team All-State by SIK and KABC in 2019 … Also was a first-team All-East Kansas League selection and voted the EKL Pitcher of the Year … Selected to play in the KABC All-Star game as a senior …  Struck out 58 batters in 44 innings to help his team reach the state semifinals in 5A … Had a 4-3 record and a 1.70 earned run average …  Was 2-3 with 18 strikeouts and an earned run average of 3.10 over 17.1 innings as a junior.
