JCCC athletes move on to 4-year schools
The 2024-25 athletic year for Johnson County Community College was extremely successful and now 57 athletes from the program’s seven teams will continue their careers at the next level in 2025-26 having signed letters-of-intent with four-year colleges and universities.
AVCA Honors JCCC Volleyball for Academic Excellence

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced the 2024-25 All-Academic Teams, recognizing student-athletes. Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher for the 2024-25 academic year.
JCCC Baseball Earns ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award
Led by head coach Eric Horner, the Johnson County Community College baseball team was the recipient of the 2025 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award presented by Sports Attack, the organization announced Wednesday.
Johnson County athletics earns 13th place finish in 2024-25 NATYCAA Ron Case Cup
The Johnson County Community College athletics department earned a Top-15 finish in the 2024-25 Ron Case Cup Scholarship Division standings presented by Daktronics, recognizing overall program excellence in two-year colleges.
