Ei surpasses 400th victory as her team improves to 21-0

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College volleyball coach Jennifer Ei earned her 400th career victory last Friday after her team swept Metropolitan Community College in their first match and the KCKCC Classic. 

Since that milestone win, her No. 1-ranked team has picked up four wins extending their win streak to 21 straight. Ei, who is in her 15th season at JCCC, currently stands 404-124.

JCCC's most recent win came Monday in 3-0 sweep over Allen Community College in Iola, Kan. 

Sophomore Jadyn Troutman, who was just named the KJCCC Offensive Player of the Week, let the hitters with 11k kills.  Sophomore Taylor McCarthy was one back with 10 and sophomore Kylie Gregory finished with eight.

Sophomore Lauren McClure directed the offense posting 24 assists and sophomore Addyson Mock led the back row with 13 digs. Freshmen Emily Silvers and Sophia Ewy were next highest each recording seven digs. 

Johnson County travels to Coffeyville for a conference tilt Wednesday, September 21 then return home to host North Platte at noon and Ottawa JV at 4 pm., on Saturday, September 24.
