Two JCCC volleyball players represented on NJCAA D-II All-Tournament Team
December 09, 2024The Johnson County Community College volleyball team had two players represented on the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II National All-Tournament Team after helping the Lady Cavaliers to a national runner-up finish. JCCC lost 3-1 in the National Championship Match to KJCCC rival Cowley College. -
Hedke selected All-America second-team by the NJCAA
December 04, 2024Johnson County Community College sophomore outside hitter/outside hitter Bella Hedke has been selected as a 2024 Second-Team All-American by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). She becomes the 34th player in team history to be selected NJCAA All-American and the 29th in Division II. -

JCCC volleyball team earns AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT
July 23, 2024The America Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) recently announced that a record number of volleyball programs earned the AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT for 2023-24. More that 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball programs maintained a year-long grade point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale to earn the award for their classroom excellence.
