JCCC’s Ulberg selected KJCCC D-II Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College outside/right side hitter Sarina Ulberg was selected the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for week seven.

Ulberg, a sophomore from Independence, MO., hit an impressive .549 over five matches last week while tallying in a total of 64 kills to help propel the top-ranked Cavaliers to five wins and remain undefeated on the season. She topped double figures in four of the five matches while adding 11 blocks and 18 digs. Her 15 kills in the victory over Coffeyville to open the week is her second-highest match total of her career.

For the season, Ulberg leads JCCC's hitters with 215 kills, which ranks her eighth in the conference. She also hitting an impressive .335, fourth-best in the conference. She has topped double figures in kills in 12 matches.
