OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The No. 8-ranked Johnson County Community College baseball team improved to 27-2 and 10-0 in the conference after taking the first two games of a four-game series against Allen Community College. The Cavaliers posted wins of 13-3 and 18-11 and take a 19-game win streak into today's games with the Red Devils in Iola, Kan. The 19-game streak ties the longest in team history. 

In the second game, Johnson County trailed 11-4 entering the bottom of the seventh, but exploded for nine runs followed by five in the eighth to win easily. 

Sophomore All-American first baseman Malik Williams and sophomore outfielder Anthony Amicangelo were big producers in the two wins.  Williams had two hits, including a home run, and four RBI in the first game, and followed with two singles and a home run, two runs and five driven in the second game. 

Amigancelo, the NJCAA batting leader at .610, had three hits and three RBi, followed by a four-hit game with a double, three runs and three RBI. He leads the team and ranks second in the conference in hits (50) and RBI (38). 

Freshman catcher Noah Cook had a single and double to drive in a season-high four runs, and sophomore infielder Mason Hartman added three runs and two RBI off the bench. 

Sophomore right-hander Zachary Ebert kept his record perfect improving to 7-0 with a complete-game victory. He pitched six innings, allowing three runs off seven hits with six strikeouts. His seven wins lead the conference, and his 60 strikeouts are second-best. 

Freshman right-hander Will Heller earned his first win of the season in the second game. He pitched the final 2.1 innings, and allowed just one hit with four strikeouts.
