Outlook

Jackson Galloway took advantage of his red-shirt season last year and has sharpened his tools, and proved to be one of the top offensive weapons for Johnson County during the fall season.

Freshman Year 2020

Played in 20 games, 17 as a starter … Batted .403 (25-for-62) with six doubles, four triples, two home runs, 19 runs scored and 17 driven in … Also was 4-of-5 in stolen bases … His four triples tied for first on the team and in the Kansas Jayhawk Conference, and ranked tied for eighth in the NJCAA  … Had six multiple-hit games and four multiple-RBI games … Ripped a triple for his first career hit, and scored a run in a 10-5 win at Brookhaven in the season opener (2-6-20) … Had a single and a solo home run in a 7-4 win at Brookhaven in the first game of double-header (2-7-20) … Followed with a single, double, two walks, three runs and two RBI in an 11-0 win in game two (2-7-20) … Collected three singles, a run, a RBI and two stolen bases in a 6-5 win over Ellsworth (2-16-20) … Went 4-for-4 with a double and triple, drove in a run and scored three times in a 21-1 win over Southwestern (2-22-20) … Drove in two runs with a double in an 18-13 win over Kirkwood (3-1-20) … Drove in a five runs with a home run and single, and scored two times in 14-4 win in game one at Labette (3-7-20) … Drove in three runs and scored twice in a 32-0 blowout in game two against the Cardinals (3-7-20) ... Earned JCCC student-athlete academic honors in the fall 2019 semester ... Earned NJCAA All-Academic Third-Team with a grade point aveage between 3.60-3.79.

High School 

Started one season and earned two varsity letters for coach and former JCCC pitcher Jay Myer at Lee’s Summit West High School, Lee’s Summit, Mo. … Graduated 2018 … As a senior earned second-team Missouri Class 5A All-State at DH/Utility by the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association … Also selected first-team Missouri Class 5A All-District and first-team All-Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference … Batted .410 with 43 hits, eight doubles, a triple, three home runs, 29 runs scored and 35 driven in as a senior … His 35 RBIs led the team … Had an 11-game hitting streak during the season and hit .477 (21-for-44) over the streak.
