JCCC’s Comer selected KJCCC East Baseball Player of the Week for week 10

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference announced its weekly honors and Johnson County Community College outfielder Jeremy Comer was named the East Division Player of the Week for week 10.

The freshman out of St. James Academy helped power the No. 12-ranked Cavaliers to a conference sweep over Labette last week. Comer hit at a .487 clip (7-for-15) with three doubles, a home run, a walk, four runs scored and five RBI against the Cardinals to help keep JCCC tied atop the KJCCC Baseball East Division standings.

Through 34 games this season, Comer is batting .302 (35-for-116) with eight doubles, a triple, five homers, 30 runs and 23 RBI.
