OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – For the second straight match, the No. 9-ranked Johnson County men's soccer finished in a tie, battling Central Community College to a 3-3 draw in Columbus, Nebraska Wednesday evening.

Central quickly found the scoring column netting a goal just 16 seconds into the match, setting a new record for the fastest goal scored against the Cavaliers. The previous record was 36 seconds set in 2007.

Four minutes later Central took its second lead and the Raiders would carry that lead into the halftime break and maintain it early in the second half until freshman midfielder Caleb Brueckner (Spring Hill, Kan.) found the back of the net in the 60th minute off a feed from McIntrye to even the score at 2-2.

Central would again take a one-goal advantage in the 67th minute, but JCCC managed get the equalizer in the 81st minute.  Freshman defender Nick McTighe (Kansas City, Mo.) scored his third goal of the year with the assist getting credited to freshman midfielder Brian Aleman (Goddard, Kan.), his fourth of the season.

Johnson County (8-2-3) travels to Chanute, Kansas on Saturday, September 30 to face Neosho County in the KJCCC D-II tilt. The Cavaliers handed the Panthers a 1-0 loss back on September 6.
