JCCC’s Jordan Harrison named the KJCCC D-II Pitcher of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College sophomore Jordan Harrison has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II Pitcher of the Week for week seven.  This is the second consecutive week Harrison has been selected as the conference's top pitcher. 

Harrison had a strong week in the circle for the Lady Cavaliers. She made five appearances, three starts and two relief stints. She was 3-0 in her three starts, which included two nine strikeout performances. For the week she struck out 25 batters over 22.2 points allowing just three total runs, good for 0.95 ERA over the week. In addition to her performance in the circle, Harrison also had a big week at the plate to help her cause. She hit .500 (7-for-14) with a double, two home runs, three runs and six RBI.
