May 18, 2024The No. 1 ranked Johnson County baseball team built an 8-0 lead on Barton County then managed to hold on for an 8-5 victory to earn a spot in the Region 6 Championship Game Saturday afternoon at Eck Stadium on the campus of Wichita State University.

Cavaliers advance to semifinals with 7-4 win over Kansas City Kansas
May 17, 2024No. 1-seed Johnson County Community College advanced to the semifinals of the Region 6 Baseball Championship with a 7-4 victory over cross-town rival Kansas City Kansas Community College Thursday night at Eck Stadium on the campus of Wichita State University.

May 11, 2024The No. 1 seed and No. 2 ranked Johnson County Community College baseball team swept the best-of-three series with No. 16 seed Pratt Community College Friday afternoon with a 9-2 victory. The Cavaliers opened the series on Thursday with an 8-5 triumph.

May 10, 2024It wasn’t won of their prettiest victories of the season, but the No. 1 seed Johnson County Community College baseball team (47-10) opened the Region 6/Plains District Tournament with an 8-5 win over Pratt Community College to take a 1-0 advantage in the best-of-three series.

Easton Roe’s walk off two-run double secures outright conference title for Cavaliers
May 05, 2024The No. 2-ranked Johnson County Community College Cavaliers baseball team (46-10, 28-4) got a walk off two-out, two-run double from freshman Easton Roe in the bottom of the ninth inning Saturday, rallying to defeat Kansas City Kansa Community College (44-10, 25-8) 6-5 to secure the Kansas Jayhawk Conference East Division title outright.

Johnson County takes over No. 1 spot in NJCAA Baseball Poll
April 22, 2024– For the second time in the 51-year history of the Johnson County Community College baseball program is the No. 1-ranked team in the country. The Cavaliers took over the top spot in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Poll Monday afternoon, jumping up from No. 3. JCCC was also ranked No. 1 during the 2015 season.

Cavaliers complete sweep of Labette to reach 40 wins on the season
April 21, 2024The No. 3-ranked Johnson County baseball team competed a four-game series sweep over Labette on Saturday afternoon, winning 14-4 and 11-0. The opened the series on Thursday with wins over 11-1 and 11-2. Johnson County has scored in double figures in seven straight games and eight of the last nine.

April 18, 2024– The No. 3-ranked Johnson County baseball team Improved to 38-8 on the season and 20-2 in conference play taking the first two games in the four-game series with Labette by the scores of 11-1 and 11-2.

April 16, 2024As the Johnson County Community College baseball program continues to pile up wins, they also continue to move up in the national ranking. This week the Cavaliers are ranked in the top-10 in all six national polls.

JCCC’s Brewer makes Prep Baseball Report JUCO Midseason Top-100 list
April 16, 2024Johnson County Community College designated hitter/infielder Dagen Brewer was among the top-100 players to make the Prep Baseball Report midseason list. The sophomore out of Topeka, Kan., was tabbed the 29th best player through the halfway point of the 2024 season.

Cavaliers take final two games at Allen to win series
April 14, 2024– The No. 3-ranked Johnson County baseball team posted a pair of double-digit victories at Allen to win the season series 3-to-1 on Saturday in Iola. The Cavaliers opened the day with 15-4 victory followed a 16-6 win, upping their records to 36-8 overall and 18-2 in conference play.

Johnson County sweeps Coffeyville to keep top spot in conference race
April 08, 2024The No. 7-ranked Johnson County baseball team earned its seventh series sweep of the season taking all four games against Coffeyville. The Cavaliers won the first two games on the road 7-1 and 5-3, and closed out the series at home winning 8-7 and 26-8.

Cavaliers take final two games to win season series against Fort Scott
March 18, 2024The No. 8-ranked Johnson County baseball team posted a pair of one-run victories to win the season series against Fort Scott on Saturday afternoon at the JCCC Baseball Complex. The Cavaliers blew a 10-run lead in the opener but prevailed 16-15, the capped the series with a 7-6 win to improve to 21-7 overall and 7-1 in conference play.

Dagen Brewer has record performance to open series at Fort Scott
March 15, 2024Johnson County sophomore designated hitter Dagen Brewer set single-game records with four home runs and nine RBI to power the Cavaliers to a 15-6 victory to open a four-game series with Fort Scott. He also had a single to give him five hits which ties JCCC game record.

February 20, 2024The No. 8-ranked Johnson County baseball team not only won its first series of this young 2024 season, but they also picked up its first series sweep, winning the final two games on Monday afternoon, 14-0 and 8-4. JCCC opened the four-game series on Sunday with wins of 12-3 and 10-1.
