OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Johnson Count Community College baseball team recently completed its 2022 fall season and head coach Eric Horner is pleased with the production and effort from his team and now has a better picture of what the Cavaliers will have when 2023 spring season opens play in the spring.  Last season the Cavaliers finished with a record of 46-17.

Horner's 2022-23 roster consists of eight returnees, nine transfers, 25 freshmen for a total of 42 players. 

The Cavaliers as a team hit .322 during the fall season, with 58 doubles, 21 triples, 26 home runs, 138 walks and 107 RBI.  The pitching staff held opposing hitters to a .210 average and struck out 291 in 215 innings pitched.
