Freshman Year 2020-21

Played the 2020-21 season for coach Pat Smith at Moberly Area Community College, Moberly, Mo. … Helped the Greyhounds to a 16-8 record … Played in 17 games … Averaged 3.1 points, and shot 47.5 percent from the floor … Upped his scoring average to 5.1 per game during the seven conference games … Also shot 61.9 percent overall and 50 percent from 3-point range during conference play … Went 2-for-4 with a 3-pointer and had two rebounds and a steal in a 144-68 victory over Tyson Prep (1-23-21) … Was on the Dean’s List for the fall semester … Provided six points and two steals in a 107-69 victor over Metropolitan (3-13-21) … Poured in a season-high 15 points, hitting 5-of-7 shots, including 3-of-5 behind the arc, 2-of-2 at the line in a 117-106 win at Missouri State-West Plains (2-22-21) … Went 3-of-5 with two 3-pointer for eight points in a 97-90 win a month later at Missouri State-West Plains (3-22-21) … Closed out the regular season with 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting with two treys in a 93-70 win over State Fair (3-27-21) … Also had two steals and an assist …  Hit two 3-pointers in a 96-90 win over Missouri State-West Plains in the first round of the Region 16 playoffs (4-2-21).

Started his freshman and sophomore years for coach Dustin Fox at North Callaway High School, Kingdom, Mo. … Started his junior and senior years for coach Tyler Hames at Oak Grove High School, Oak Grove, Mo. … Graduated 2020 … Was a three-time All-Missouri Valley West Conference performer and a three-time All-District selection … Honored as a National High School Strength Coaches Association (NHSSCA) All-American athlete in 2020 … Closed out his career as the all-time leading scorer in Oak Grove history  … Averaged 12.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.6 steals as a freshman, and 15.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.9 steals his sophomore season at North Callaway … At Oak Grove, averaged 17 points and six rebounds as a junior, and upped his averages to 25 points and nine boards , while hitting over 40 percent beyond the arc, his senior season … Began his junior season on a tear, scoring 32 points in an 82-62 win over Wellington-Napoleon, followed by 31 points in a 92-71 rout of Marshall and 41 points in an 85-74 win over Van Horn, which earned him the Kim Downey Noble’s State Farm Athlete of the Week … Scored 44 points and had eight steals in a victory over Brookfield his senior year … Was a starting quarterback at North Callaway his sophomore year, and led Thunderbirds to a Missouri Class 2 District 5 championship … Earned Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Academic All-State … National Honor Society member.
