Was a three-year starter and four-year letter winner for coach Ashlyn Brantley at Platte County High School, Platte City, Mo. … Earned honorable mention Missouri Class 3 All-State as a senior …  Was a three-time All-Suburban Blue and All-District first-team selection … Selected All-Area as a senior … Helped Platte County to the state championship game in soccer as a senior, scoring a header in the Class 3 semifinal 3-0 win over Neosho Christian … In the title game the Pirates lost to Rockwood Summit 2-1 in double overtime, finishing the year 26-2-0 … Provided the assist on the Pirates goal in the 22^nd minute … Played two seasons of club soccer for KC Fusion Academy coached by Jimmy Perez and helped them to a State Cup Championship … Also played one year for Fusion Pre-A and five for Legacy SC … Split time between two sports in the fall his junior and senior year, playing center back on the soccer team, and kicker for the football team … Was a two-time all-conference, all-district and all-state performer in football … Kicked a game-winning 20-yard field goal in the final minute of the Class 4 District 8 semifinal to propel Platte County to a 23-20 win over Smithville that sent the Pirates to a fifth straight championship game berth … Also kicked two other field goals of 26 and 22 yards in the game … Booted a game-winning field goal in a 15-14 win against St. Mary, sending the team to the state championship game against Webb City … Became just the second player in MSHSAA history play for two championships in the same season … Was a three-year starter in baseball paying pitcher, shortstop and outfield.
