OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College men's soccer forward Monty Almalky and midfielder Dominic Zuniga have been named to the United Soccer Coaches NJCAA Division II All-West Region team. 

Earlier this year both players were selected as All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II and All-Region 6 Division II first-team performers. 

Almaliky and Zuniga tied as the team's leading scorers in 2024, each with 21 points. Both tied for fifth in the conference in season points.

Almaliky netted seven goals, with one game winner, and seven assists. He also made the only penalty kick attempted on the season.  As a freshman, he also finished with 21 points. He closes out his career with 42 points, 18 goals, 16 assists and four game winning goals.

Zuniga's 21 points came from eight goals, which tied for the team lead, and five assists. He too had one game winning goal. He also had one multiple goal and one multiple assist game. For his career he finished with 14 goals, five assists for 34 points.
