JCCC’s Knight selected KJCCC D-II Women’s Soccer POW for week 3

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College forward Jenna Knight was selected the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II Women's Soccer Player of the Week for week 3 on Tuesday.

The freshman from Edwardsville, Kan., scored the game winning goal and provided two assists to help lead the No. 13 ranked Cavaliers to a 6-0 victory over Central last week. I was her first goal of the season.  She is currently tied for third on the team in total points with five. 

Knight becomes the third JCCC women's soccer player to be honored this season. Sophomore forward Megan Everhart was the week 1 Player of the Week, and in week 2, freshman Maddox Fergus was named as Goalkeeper of the Week.
