    – The Johnson County Community College women’s soccer team (19-0-3) defeated Anne Arundel Community College 2-0 Tuesday to advance to the semifinals of the NJCAA Division II National Tournament at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama.

    The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) announced its 2024 women’s soccer awards and Johnson County had eight players named to the All-KJCCC Division II Women’s Soccer Team. All eight were named to the first-team. Additionally, Emily Crosby was selected the Defensive Player of the Year for the conference and Jim Schwab was named the KJCCC D-II Coach of the Year.

    The No. 3-ranked Johnson County Community College women’s soccer team extended its consecutive shutout record to nine straight matches with by blanking Highland Community College 7-0 Sunday afternoon. The last goal given up by the Lady Cavaliers was at 77:33 in the second half of 2-2 tie at Phoenix College on August 22, a span of 822 minutes, 27 seconds.
  • Offense rolls while defense sets new consecutive shutout mark

    On a night that the Johnson County women’s soccer team netted 18 goals, the star of the match would most likely be one of the offensive players, but it would be the defense that would steal the show. The Lady Cavaliers set a new team record by holding an opponent scoreless for eight straight matches, breaking the old mark of seven set in the team’s inaugural campaign in 1999.

    The No. 3-ranked Johnson County Community College women’s soccer team recorded its sixth straight shutout of the season, drubbing Allen Community College 10-0 Saturday evening at the JCCC Soccer Complex. The shutout streak is just one shy of the program record of seven set in the team’s inaugural season in 1999.

JCCC has shutout its opponents in all three victories, outscoring them 18-to-0.

Soccer Complex Monday night, as the Lady Cavaliers overwhelmed State Fair Community College 12-0. It marked the 42nd time JCCC has recorded a double-digit shutout, and it was eh 255th all-time in program history.
