OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The No. 2-ranked Johnson County Community College women's soccer team's 15-match shutout streak came to an end Thursday night, but the Lady Cavaliers still dominated play with a 7-1 victory over Allen Community College in first round of the District Playoffs.

One minute later Bresette picked up her second assist when she found freshman defender Riggs Kuhn open for a seventh goal on the season.

Johnson County would add four more goals in the second half to pull away for the easy victory. Freshman forward Jill Lenherr scored in the 65th minute with sophomore midfielder Lotta Meindl getting the assist.

Malik made his 5-1 in the 67th minute off an assist from freshman forward Carmen Duarte, who made it 6-1 in the 73rd minute with her second goal of the year.

Freshman forward Lily Marshall closed out the scoring in the 80th minute with her seventh score on the year. Meindl was credited with the assist on both Duarte's and Marshall's goals to earn her first career playmaker with three assists in a match.

Fergus saved three shots and upped her season record to 8-0-1 and to 18-2-1 for her career.
