Sophomore Year 2022

Made 10 appearance on the year, going 3-0 with a 6.05 ERA in 19.1 innings of work … Made four starts … Struck out 24 while only walking three batters … Pitched multiple innings on five occasions … Pitched a perfect inning in relief in his first outing in an 11-1 win over Southwestern (2-20-22) … Followed with two more perfect relief innings with strikeouts in each in an 11-7 loss to Ellsworth (2-27-22) and a 9-3 loss to Cloud County (3-4-22) … Earned his first victory logging 2.0 innings while allowing two runs off two hits four strikeouts in a 27-7 win over Baker JV (3-15-22) … Fanned four in three scoreless innings to earn the victory at Benedictine JV (4-5-22) … Hurled 5.0 scoreless innings to earn his third victory, allowing just one hit with a season-high six strikeouts in a 10-0 shutout over Baker JV (4-12-22).

Freshman Year 2021

Made six appearance on the mound, two as a starter … Had 11 strikeouts in eight innings pitched, and finished with an earned run average of 6.75 … Held hitters to a batting average of .156 … Made his debut with an inning of scoreless relief in a 17-7 win over Southwestern (2-22-21) … Allowed a hit and struck out three in an inning pitched in a 25-1 win over Rockhurst JV (3-6-21) … Allowed a run off two hits with a strikeout over the first two innings of 9-1 win over Dawson (3-16-21) … Allowed two runs off two hits with three strikeouts in the first two innings of a 23-5 win over State Fair (3-30-21) … Was the starting pitcher against both Dawson and State Fair but did not factor in the decisions … Pitched a perfect inning of relief with three strikeouts in a 25-0 win at Benedictine JV (4-27-21).

Was a two-year starter for coach Joe Allison at Blue Valley West High School, Overland Park, Kan. … His senior season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Graduated 2020 … Earned honorable mention Eastern Kansas League  as a junior after finishing 5-1 with a 3.11 earned run average and 30 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched … Logged 10 innings with four strikeouts and a 2.80 ERA as a sophomore … Also hit .444 with three driven in.
