The Johnson County Community College dance team recently competed at the Region VI Dance and Cheer Championships at Newton High School, Sunday, March 10th, competing in Team Performance, Jazz, Pom, and Hip-hop, along with solo divisions. Johnson County came away as the Region VI champion for the ninth consecutive year.
The Johnson County Community College Golden Girls dance team competed in the inaugural Innovative College Open Championships on Sunday, February 25 at Olathe East High School.
The Johnson County Community College Golden Girls Dance Team is hosting a workshop for high school and college dancers interested in trying out for the Golden Girls team. The workshop will take place on Sunday, February 11, 2023, and Sunday, March 24, 2023, in the JCCC main gymnasium.
