JCCC’s Jackson selected KJCCC D-II Player of the Week for a third time

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College freshman guard Tymer Jackson has been selected the Kansas Jayhawk Conference Men's D-II Player of the Week for week 10. This is the third time this season he has been selected. 

Jackson powered the undefeated and No. 2 ranked Cavaliers to pair of victories last week, averaging 24.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He also shot 53 percent beyond the 3-point line and 82 percent from the free throw line.  In his team's 97-82 win over no. 20 ranked Neosho County Jackson poured in 32 points, his second highest game total of the season. 

Jackson is currently the leading scorer in the conference averaging 18.9 per game. He has scored in double figures in 17 of the team's 20 games, with seven games over 20 or more points.
