JCCC knocks Metropolitan from the unbeaten with first road victory of the season.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -  The Johnson County Community College men's basketball team earned its first true road win of the season Monday night with a 67-58 victory at Metropolitan Community College. With the victory the Cavaliers improved to 6-2 while the Wolves fall to 6-1 suffering their first loss of the 2022-23 season. 

JCCC sophomore guard Tymer Jackson matched his season high pouring in 25 points. He was 8-of-19 shooting with a 3-pointer and 8-of-9 at the line. 

Sophomore forwards Xavier Kahube and Ryan Gordon were also in double figures with 11 and 10 respectively. Gordon was the team's top rebounder with eight, and Kahube followed six boards. 

Christian Bradford and Najee Williams led Metropolitan with 15 points each. 

Johnson County returns to the hardwood on Sunday afternoon in Trenton, Mo, when the take on North Central Missouri College. They host Link Year Prep on Wednesday, November 30 at 7 p.m.
