  • Barnum earns CoSIDA Academic All-America® At-Large honor

    Johnson County Community College volleyball player Rylie Barnum was named to the 2019-20 COSIDA Academic All-America® College Division Women's At-Large team as voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). She was one of 10 to be selected for the honor.

  • JCCC volleyball team fundraising tournament postponed due to COVID-19

    The Johnson County Community College volleyball team was scheduled to host a fundraising tournament Saturday May 2nd, at Centerline Beach Volleyball, 1910 SE U.S. Highway 40, Blue Springs, Missouri.The event was also serve as a sendoff for longtime assistant coach Jodi Rogert. However, the event has now been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A new date has yet to be determined.

She has compiled 324 wins, led the program to national tournaments in eight of 12 seasons, and has had her team appear in 104 of 111 NJCAA Coaches Polls

    For the second time in three weeks, Johnson County Community College sophomore All-American libero Rylie Barnum has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Conference Division II Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. Barnum was the week one winner, and Tuesday she was selected the week 3 winner.

    The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) released its first regular season poll on Wednesday afternoon, and the Johnson County Community College volleyball team held on to its preseason spot at No. 3. A few hours later they demonstrated to Neosho County Community College why they earned that third spot by sweeping the Panthers 3-0.
