Maggie McNally will see many important innings in the circle again this season ...  Coming into her sophomore season with a lot of experience and growth from last year ... Has worked hard to perfect her physical and mental game and ready to showcase that in the circle this season ... Earned All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference D-II and Region 6/Plains District second-team … Twice selected as the KJCCC D-II Pitcher of the Week, earning the honor in weeks 10 and 13 … Made 26 appearances in the circle, with 23 starts and 10 complete games … Finished 13-4 with 132 strikeouts in 113.2 innings of work, two shutouts with an earned run average of 2.71 … Held opposing batters to an average of .198 … Ranked sixth in the conference in ERA and fifth in strikeouts … Her 132 strikeouts rank 19th on JCCC’s season chart …  Had four games with 10 strikeouts, the first coming in her collegiate debut, a 9-4 win over Iowa Central (3-5-23) … Allowed just one run off four hits with five strikeouts in her next outing, a 3-1 win over Indian Hills (3-15-23) … Allowed just one run off four hits with eight strikeouts in a 2-1 win over nationally-ranked Kirkwood (3-28-23) … Followed with 10 strikeouts in a 10-3 complete game victory at Allen (3-30-23) … Pitched a two-hit 11-0 shutout with six strikeouts at St. Charles (4-2-23) … That would start a string of nine straight victories … Mowed down 10 batters in a 7-1 win at Cloud County (4-6-23) … Allowed an unearned run with five strikeouts over five innings in a 9-1 win over Neosho County (4-13-23) … Allowed just one run off three hits with seven strikeouts in a 4-1 win at Independence (4-15-23) … Hurled a one-hitter with nine strikeouts in an 8-0 shutout over Hesston (4-19-23) … Scattered seven hits and struck out 10 in a 7-1 win over Kansas City Kansas (5-3-23). 

High School  

Was two-year starter for coach Cory Katzer at Spring Hill High School, Spring Hill, Kan. … Did not play her sophomore year due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Graduated 2022 …  Earned Kansas 5A All-State first-team as an outfielder her senior year … Named the Tri-County Spotlight Pitcher of the Year in 2022 … Also selected All-Frontier League first-team as a pitcher … Was a semifinalist for the 2022 Earl Award Pitcher … Selected to play in the Mo-Kan All-Star Game her senior year … Did not lose a game until the Kansas 5A State Tournament, and finished her senior season 12-1 with 76 strikeouts in 59.1 innings pitched … At the plate hit .412 with 29 hits, six doubles, three triples, a home run, 16 runs scored and 25 RBI … As a junior went 5-1 with 88 strikeouts in 49 innings and had an ERA of 0.86 … Hit .486 with 31 hits, four doubles, three home runs, 31 runs scored and 23 RBI while helping lead the Broncos to a regional title and a 5A State Tournament berth … Honor roll student all four years … Graduated in top 15 percent of her class … Kansas City Star Scholar Athlete in 2022 … Also participated in choir and theatre.
