Jayde Williams is a tough, hard-nosed combo guard that has made big gains in the past six months ... Was a redshirt the previous two seasons and looks to make an impact in 2021-22.  

Freshman Year 2021-22

Played in all 36 games … Is one of JCCC’s top defenders … Averaged 3.3 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists … Tied for third on the team in total assists with 40 … Shot 39.8 percent from the floor, 40.7 percent from 3-point range and 70.4 percent at the free throw line … Had four points, four rebounds and two assists in a 99-53 win over Haskell Indian JV (11-5-21) … Was 2-for-2 from 3-point range in an 86-31 win over Saint Mary JV (11-6-21) … Had four points and four boards in an 95-31 win at Graceland JV (11-8-21) … Finished with eight points, three assists, three steals and two rebounds in a 56-38 win at John Wood (12-4-21) … Contributed six points and three rebounds in a 69-40 win over Hesston (1-21-22) … Finished with seven points, three rebounds and three assists in a 79-26 win at Hesston (2-12-22) … Followed with a season high nine points along with three boards in an 83-50 win over Kansas City Kansas (2-14-22) … Was 2-for-2 with a 3-pointer and 2-for-2 at the line for seven points in an 84-47 win over Kansas City Kansas in the semifinals of the Region 6/Plains District Tournament (3-2-22) … Contributed four points, a rebound and an assist to help JCCC to a 70-60 victory over No. 5 Labette in the Region 6/Plains District Championship Game (3-5-22) … Scored seven points along with three rebounds in a 98-67 win over Cape Fear in the first round of the NJCAA D-II National Tournament (3-15-22) … Contributed six points, two steals, a rebound and an assist in a 74-71 win over Mesa to help JCCC advance to the fifth-place game (3-17-22).

High School

Was three-year starter and four-time letter winner for coach Brett Goodwin at Benton High School, St. Joseph, Mo. Graduated 2019 … Was a three-time first-team All-Midland Empire Conference selection … Was also a three-time All-District and All-City performer … Was a part of three District Championship teams, including back-to-back titles as a junior and senior … As a freshman, was part of a Benton team that reached the State Championship Game for the first time in school history … Went on to capture the Class 4 title with a thrilling 41-34 double overtime decision over MICDS, and complete the season with a perfect 31-0 record … They were just the ninth team in Missouri Class 4 history to complete a season unbeaten … Also competed in soccer, golf and track … Named Missouri Class 2 honorable mention All-State at forward her junior year by the Missouri Soccer Coaches Association … Was a four-time All-Conference, All-District and All-City selection in soccer … Twice earned All-District and All-city in golf … Placed in a tie for 13^th at the District Golf Championship her senior year … Competed one season in track and earned All-City honors … National Honors Society member.
