JCCC women’s basketball downs Neosho by 20 to improve to 21-0

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The No. 3-ranked Johnson County women's basketball team improved to 21-0 on the season with a 73-53 road victory over Neosho County Wednesday night.

With the victory head coach Ben Conrad now has 499 career victories coaching community college women's basketball, with 428 coming at JCCC. 

Four Lady Cavaliers, all starters, finished in double figures scoring led by sophomore guard Lisa Thomas with 18. She also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out four assists. 

Sophomore guard Aryannah Harrison followed with 17 points and five rebounds. Sophomore guard Nariyah Simmons finished with 16 points, seven rebounds and seven assists and sophomore guard Mackenzie Hart posted a double-double of 14 points and 10 boards. 

Freshman guard Jazzy Klinge also topped double digits in rebounds with a game high 11. She also chipped in six points. 

Johnson County will to remain unbeaten Saturday, February 4 when the host Allen at 2 p.m.
